Glad to meet a fellow LOTR fan... I think I'm the only one out of my friends who can sit through the extended versions of the movies haha. Most people I know think even the theatrical version was way too long. Then I go on a rant about how they left things out and it could've been longer etc... lol.
exactly! like how sauruman took over the shire at the the end, and they didn't show gimli and legolas go gallavanting off together into the woods. that severely disappointed me. people just don't understand, my..."interest."
